I worked with Mr. Arndt at Walmart in Festus..When he was door greeting in Lawn and Garden it was always fun! He constantly had me laughing! I remember a time when I was looking for a place to move to..had a child on the way..I was sitting in the snack bar at the Desoto walmart..before the supercenter..Ron came in with his wife and talked to me and was wandering what I was doing as I sat there with paper applications I was filling out..he handed me a $20 BILL AND SAID HERE YOU GO..I will never forget you Ron! Rest easy friend til we meet again!

Ron we will miss you terribly you have been a great big part of our lives for so very long, I remember you would walk over with a card in hand for birthdays, and weddings and school graduations. You and Shirley when Sadie was born made a big fuss, you were there to help see us through some hard times too and I am glad you were there for Randy also, he really loves you like a dad cause you kind of stepped in there when Gene died as dad and grandpa for our kids and grandkids you will definitely be missed. I remember you on your riding mower the kids would see you and have to go over to say hi and give papa Ron a hug and a kiss. And you would always hug me too. So here is a very special hug to you and we will see you again one day in Heaven! Love you always Randy, Brenda and Sadie Hubbard, Vinny, Brandy(Hubbard) Ethen, Mathew,Jeremy O'Hara-- Steve,Kathy,Christina, Jason, Bianca and Kalysta Hubbard

The nicest man who I will miss in and around DeSoto. My oldest daughter remembers how nice he and Shirley were when we visited them with homemade chocolate chip cookies when she was little. He never failed to give hugs when he saw me. God Bless your family at this very sad time.
