Rolland DuRain
February 28, 1929 - September 10, 2012
Rolland L. DuRain was born on February 28, 1929 in Great Bend, KS. He was the son of the late Joseph & Pearl (Polk) DuRain. He died on Sept. 10, 2012 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Crystal City, MO at the age of 83.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Doris (Kemper) DuRain of Farmington, MO; his children, Judith (Floyd) Brewer of Ackworth, GA; Debra (Kevin) Tinker of Farmington, MO; and Roy (Debra) DuRain of Green River, WY; brother, Ken DuRain of Mission, TX; three grandchildren, Brian (Beverly) Brewer, Letta (Shane) Loggins, and Brenda DuRain; three great grandchildren; four step-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Dawn, Connie, and Jodie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Joe DuRain, William Durain, William DuRain, Ruby Curnutte, and Alta Mae Dabbs.
Mr. DuRain served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a retired Electrician for St. Louis Refrigerator Car Co. And he was a member of the Victoria Baptist Church.
Rev. Bob Adams will officiate the memorial service. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
