Robert Leftridge
March 20, 1941 - October 5, 2009
Robert “Bob” E. Leftridge was born on March 20, 1941 in Tiff, Missouri. He was the son of Homer E. & Lucille (nee Radford) Leftridge. He died on October 5, 2009 at his residence in De Soto, Missouri; at the age of 68.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca “Becky” (nee Blackwell) Leftridge. They were married on June 24, 1961 at the Primrose Baptist Church. He is also survived by three children, Kelly (Jeff) Durrwachter of De Soto; Krista (David) Buxton of Perryville, MO; & Kevin (Shannon) Leftridge of De Soto, MO; three brothers, William “Bill” (Mary) Leftridge of De Soto, MO; Wayne (Donna) Leftridge of De Soto, MO; & Randy Leftridge of De Soto, MO; three sisters, Louella (Bill) Costello of De Soto, MO; Kay (Ardie) Price of De Soto, MO; and Linda (Jim) Bailey of Sullivan, IL; and eight grandchildren, Katy & Weston Durrwachter, Lauren, Kayla & Andrew Buxton; and Amy, Mary Kate & Hannah Leftridge.
Mr. Leftridge was the owner and operator of Robert Leftridge & Son Bricklayer and He & his wife owned and operated the Traveler’s Restaurant. He was a member of the Primrose Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman and hunter; and also sang with the Primrose Quartet.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
