Robert F. Chapman was born in De Soto on June 9, 1946 a son  of Alvera A. (nee Bressler) and Charles R. Chapman, Sr.  He died at S.S.M. St. Clare Hospital on November 19, 2022 at the age of 76. He is survived by his children: Robert F. (Judy) Chapman, Jr., Largo, FL, Tina (Steve) Risinger, Jackson, Michelle (Keith) Tosie, Valley Park, Dwayne (Michelle) Chapman, Jackson and Jason (Trazarra) Chapman, Paris, fourteen grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; four sisters: Patricia Holt, De Soto, Alice Suiter, De Soto, Arlene Parton, De Soto and Charlene Wougamon, Murphysboro, IL; one brother Harold Chapman, East Islip, NY and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; a grandson David Austin Chapman; two sisters: Judy Jackson and Mary Northcutt; four brothers: Charles “Chuck” Chapman, Bill Chapman, Russ Chapman and John Paul Chapman. Bob had worked as a hod carrier working out of Laborer’s Local #110 and had retired as a custodian from Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Webster Groves. Bob was a member of B.P.O.E. #689 and a Booster of Amvets Post #48.
