Richard (Dick) E. Schwab was born on May 15, 1941 in St. Louis, MO. He was the son of Mary Jane and Albert E. (Bud) Schwab. He die don March 24, 2020 at Baisch Nursing Facility at the age of 78.
He is survived by two sisters, Sally A. Schwab of St. Joseph, MO and Mary Beth (Glen) Youngblood of De Soto, MO and many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Albert E. Schwab, Jr and Kenneth L. Schwab.
Dick was a man remembered for his appreciation of the care that others provided him. He was a man that loved Cardinals baseball, being a cowboy and eating! His parents supported him until they became frail. Dick has been cared for by many loving persons and since 2008 has been cared for by the wonderful caregivers at the Baisch Nursing Care Facility. Dick has blessed all of our lives in a special way. Dick lived a heroic life, in his own way. He will be remembered by many for the example he gave of acceptance of limitations, humility, humor and extraordinary patience.
