Peter Michael Janky
March 9, 1943 - December 25, 2023
Peter Michael Janky was born on March 9, 1943 in Omaha, NE. He was the son of Emil & Arlene (Slavik) Janky. He died on December 25, 2023 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO at the age 80.
He is survived by his three daughters, Katherine (Scott) Pachunka of Omaha, Nebraska; Susan (and the late Pasquale) Signorino of Ballwin, MO; and Kristine (Dan) Gronborg of De Soto, MO; grandchildren, Dr. Joseph (Erin) Pachunka, Emily (Mason) Parriott, Hannah (Colin Finnegan) Pachunka, Allison Pachunka, Payton Gronborg, and Colton Gronborg; two great granddaughters, Ella Pachunka and Emma Parriott; two sisters, Paulette (Tom) Bogacz of Omaha, NE and Pamela Janky of Omaha, NE.
Peter was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mary Frances (nee Craven) Janky; and one brother, Patrick Janky.
Peter was a retired welder form Union Pacific Railroad.
A memorial mass will be held in Omaha, NE at a later date. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to St. Rose of Lima or St. Vincent DePaul.
