Patsy Ann “Pat” Simmons was born on January 15, 1944 . She was the daughter of Albert and Edna (nee Covington) Dyle. She died at Festus Manor on December 18, 2020 at the age of 76. She is survived by her daughters Lisa Pope, House Springs, MO and Patty (Tracy) Lovell, Washington, MO, four grandchildren: Jason, Jeremy, Matt and Michael; four great grandchildren: Nathaniel, Tyler, Natalie and Cullen; four step children: Linda Hope, Washington, MO, Brian Simmons, Union, MO, Jeff Simmons, Union, MO and Dean Simmons, Union, MO; two sisters Linda Minner, Granite City, IL and Dianne Boone, Granite City, IL; one brother Marty Thomason, Granite City, IL and a dear friend Elaine Simmons, De Soto, MO. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Billy Joe Simmons; a step son Mark Simmons; a sister Wanda Wente and a bother Jerry Thomason. She had retired as a cook from the De Soto Public School System.
