Opal Elaine Tarrants was born on April 9, 1941 in Sikeston, MO. She was the daughter of James A. & Anna M. (nee Counsil) Noyes. She died on July 30, 2026 at The Quarters of Des Peres at the age of 85.
Opal is survived by her daughters, Sherry Tarrants and Lori (Brian) Mayer, all of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Brandi (David) Snodgrass, Courtney (Sam) Weber, Meagan (Josh) Politte, and Kristen (Larz Shields) Mercer; great-grandchildren, Emmett, Caleb, Audrey, Luke, Sam, Elliana, Noah, Emma, Chase, Isabella, Kaylyn, Charlotte, Brooklyn, Kynsley, and Bryley; and one sister, Frances Taylor of Sikeston.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Johnny E. Tarrants; and siblings, Nadine Jursic, Mozelle Sears, Reva Curtner, and Golda Holman.
