Clyde Michael “Mike” Gans was born December 24, 1949 in De Soto a son to Wilma (nee Hardin) and Richard William “Dick” Gans, Jr.  He died on November 5, 2021 at John Cochran V.A. Medical Center at the age of 71 . He is survived by his son, Christopher Gans, De Soto, MO; daughters, Heather (Zac) Taylor, Hurst, TX and Kelly Gans, Bellmore, NY; grandchildren, Jaydin Gans, Jameson Taylor, Madasen Gans, and Reagan Taylor (who is on the way); siblings, Richard (Mary) Gans, III, Festus, MO; Jean Peters, Festus, MO; Patricia Gans, De Soto, MO; and Mary Ann Gans, Bremerton, WA. He is preceded in death by his parents and one son Jason Jon Gans. Mike was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.  He was very proud of the country he served. He had retired from the Chrysler Auto Assembly Plant in Fenton and had also retired from the Jefferson County Highway Department.
