Mary Louise “Honey” Wilson was born in De Soto on March 31, 1948 a daughter to William Kenneth “Kenny”  and Mary Belle (nee Robbs) Sutton.  She died on June 18, 2021 at Hillcrest Care Center in De Soto at the age of 73.  She is survived by her children: Lisa (Bob) Mira, De Soto, Melissa Wilson, De Soto and Bryan Wilson, Farmington; her grandchildren: Brittany (William) Benson., Christopher Whitt, Emily (Matt) Dalgetty. Michael Whitt and Bethany Mira; her great grandchildren: Ryker Whitt, Bonnie Rose Whitt, Finley Grace Benson, and one on the way;  three sisters: Linda Hurley, De Soto, Carol Ann (Don) Brown, De Soto and Sherry (Tom) Brock, De Soto and her aunt Grace Sutton Manley, Sacramento, CA and two uncles: John (Lurea) Sutton, De Soto and Don (Charlotte) Sutton, Victoria, TX.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of nearly 50 years Donald “Cotton” Wilson. Mary and Cotton were married on December 4, 1971.  Mary was a Registered Nurse having worked at several local nursing homes, Jefferson Memorial Hospital and having retired from St. Anthony’s Hospital.  She also served as a Girl Scout leader and enjoyed the time spent with her family especially camping and fishing.
