Mary Louise “Lou” Klump Schrum was born March 11, 1947 in Ste. Genevieve, MO. She was the daughter of Lawrence and Laverne (nee McClain) Klump. She died on August 11, 2015 at her residence in De Soto, MO at the age of 68 years. She is survived by her husband, Ron Schrum, Sr., De Soto, MO; children, Kelly (Kevin) Pashea, De Soto, MO; Ronald (Cora) Schrum, Jr., De Soto, MO; and Ed (Sue Jasper) Harris, Wilmington, N.C.; brother, Lindell (Sandra) Klump, Ste. Genevieve, MO; sister-in-law, Bonnie Klump, De Soto, MO; grandchildren, Elicia Sweat, Noah O’Harver, Madisen Bechler, Riley Harris, and Jackson Schrum. She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Larry Klump, Leland Klump, and Imogene Jennings; one grandson, Tre’ Schrum. Mary Lou served as Past President of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #1831 she was also a member of the Amvets Post #48 Auxiliary and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. She was a sheet metal worker at McDonnell Douglas.
