Please accept my deepest sympathies. I don't personally know your family, but I do know your feelings of loss. I too lost my mother of 97 years and I learned it doesn't matter how long we have them in our lives, when they fall asleep in death, our hearts ache. I just want to share something with you that comforted me at the time of my loss. Please open your Bible to John 11: 11-44. It is an experience that Jesus and the family of Lazarus had when Jesus walked this earth. His friend Lazarus died and, like you, the family and friends were beside themselves with grief. Martha expressed to Jesus that Lazarus would be resurrected on the last day. Jesus then performed the miracle of the resurrection of Lazarus for a lesson that would even benefit us today. Your dear Margaret will be resurrected too. When you read the account for yourself in the Bible, notice how tears of sadness turn into tears of joy. You will have that experience too. But Revelation 21:3,4 tells us that no more will death be. It will be gone forever. Until then, we must wait on the Great Time Keeper, Jehovah to grant his Son Jesus to begin the resurrection for which we yearn. It will be the right time. The perfect time. Lazarus died again and has to wait on the resurrection, too, but when our loved ones come back they will not have to leave again. While we patiently wait, may the peace of God comfort your hearts at this time.
