Lucille Maness was born February 10, 1916 in Poplar Bluff a daughter to William Abe and Verna (nee Hudson) Love. She died October 31, 2014 at the Baisch Nursing Center at the age of 98. She is survived by her sister: Nancy (Ted) Howell, De Soto; a son-in-law Carl Krodinger, Lacombe, LA; two grandsons: Carl Michael and Robert Scott Krodinger and their families. She is preceded in death by her parents; her step-mother: Emma Love Scott who raised Lucille from a young child following her mothers death; her husband: Walter Maness; and a daughter: Lynda Krodinger. Lucille was a 1933 graduate of De Soto High School. She was a homemaker and kept books for her husband’s Wonder Bread sales business. She earned her 50 year pin from the Order of the Eastern Star where she served as Worthy Matron for her Lodge. She also was a member of the First Baptist Church, De Soto. Rev.
