Theodore Leroy “Red” Bequette was born December 11, 1943 in De Soto, MO. He was the son of Floyd Joseph and Rose Agnes (nee Emily) Bequette. He passed on September 11, 2019 at Hillcrest Care Center, De Soto, MO at the age of 75 years. He is survived by his wife, Jannette (nee Kyle) Bequette, De Soto, MO; children, Michelle (Eric) Fjone, Festus, MO; Shane (Terrie’l) Bequette, De Soto, MO; Laura (Scot) Lane, Dacula, GA; Petty Hicks, Park Hills, MO; and Billy Bequette, Park Hills, MO; one sister, Judy (Bob) Fadler, Leadwood, MO; two brothers, Paul (Doris) Bequette, Imperial, MO; and David (Susie) Bequette, House Springs, MO; grandchildren, Taylor, Caleb, Eric “E.J.”, Mia, Steven, Josh, Dennis, Ashley, and one grandchild on the way. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Tommia (Betty & Grace) Bequette, Lena (David, Sr.) Whitter, Chuck (Deloris) Bequette, Marion (Walter, Sr.) Chapman, and Delbert Bequette. Leroy was a life member of De Soto Lions Club and a volunteer for the De Soto Food Pantry.
