Larry Gene Nash was born in Newport, Ark. on January 4, 1948 a son to H. C. and Violet (nee Davison) Nash. He died at his De Soto home on December 18, 2020 at the age of 72. He is survived by his mother who lives in De Soto; his wife Crystal E. “Chris” (nee Williams) Nash; his children: Michelle Downs, De Soto, Jodie (Bill Swaller) Nash, De Soto, Michael (Melanie) Downs, De Soto, and Dennis (Amie) Nash, Festus; six grandchildren: Jayden, Zach, Alanna, Katie, Andrew, and Patrick; three sisters: Cathy Greenlee, De Soto, Betty (Norm) McClinton, De Soto, and Carolyn (Jim) Willett, De Soto; and one brother Gary (Joan) Nash, Belton, MO. He is preceded in death by his father and brother-in-law: Jack Greenlee. Larry had retired as a repairman for the Chrysler Auto Manufacturing Plant in Fenton. He had also worked as a mechanic for De Soto Muffler and Auto and was a member of U.A.W. Local #110 and B.P.O.E. #689.
