Larry B. Halton was born in Farmington on September 19, 1947 the son of Frank and Eulah (nee McGraw) Halton. He died on August 11, 2023 at Des Peres Hospital at the age of 75. He is survived by his wife Brenda (nee Caldwell) Halton, De Soto; five children: Clay Halton, New York, New York, Chelsey (Jake) Theiling, Arnold, Sara (Matt) McAllister, De Soto, Josh (Emily) McCullough, De Soto and Amanda (Jerry) Nappier, De Soto; ten grandchildren: Maci, Olivia, Mackenzie, Chase, Lauren, Madeline, Sophie, Levi, Wren and Miles; one sister Shirley (Junior) Blackwell, Farmington; one brother Donald “Shorty” (Sue) Halton, Farmington; his mother in law Doris Caldwell Hale; sisters in law Karen (Edgar) Huffman, De Soto, Barbara Halton, St. Charles and Linda Halton, Bonne Terre; a brother in law Rodney (Karen) Caldwell and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; his step mother Alberta Halton; two brothers Elmer Halton and Danny Halton and a sister in law Vicki Halton. Larry was a graduate of Farmington High School and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He had worked as a concrete truck driver for Kienstra and Maclay and an oil delivery driver for Energy Petroleum. He was a member of Teamsters Local #618.
