Lewis Wade Roop, II was born in St. Louis on June 10, 1944 a son to Lewis Wade and Mildred Marie (nee Dickman) Roop. He died on December 22, 2021 at the age of 77. He is survived by his; wife Karen R. (nee Clark) Roop, De Soto; one daughter Lori (Brian) McKee, Festus; three sons: Lewis (Kelly) Roop, III, De Soto, Charles (Stephanie) Roop, De Soto and Jonathan (Samantha) Roop, Hillsboro; six grandchildren: Collin McKee, Sean McKee, Jonathan Roop, II, Jaxson Roop, Hunter Crisel and Rebecca Crisel; one great grandson Oden; and his step-mother, Cathy Camp Roop, De Soto, MO. He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister Gretchen Roop Ray. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1620 Boyd St., De Soto, MO 63020 or the Alzheimer’s Association, 9370 Olive Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63132.
