June Thomason was born on June 24, 1925 in St. Louis, MO. She was the daughter of August and Edna (nee Garrison) Griffith. She died on March 11, 2024 at Stonebridge Care Center in De Soto at the age of 98.
She is survived by one daughter: Cindy Hunt, De Soto and two sons: Stanley “Butch” (Joan) Claus, St. Charles and Murray Claus, St. Clair, also survived by a daughter in law Janice Claus, Alabama; two brothers: Jack (Lorraine) Griffith, Manchester and Jerry Griffith, St. Louis; 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Charles Claus and her second husband William “Bill” Thomason; a daughter Sandra Alvey and a son Charles Claus, a son-in-law Dale Hunt; and a brother August Griffith and his wife Muriel and a sister in law Mary Griffith.
June had retired as a supervisor from Ballwin Regional Flag Company
