Judson Lee “Jud” Ray was born in Crystal City on April 2, 1978 a son to Violet (nee Owens) and Everett A. Ray, Sr. He died at his rural De Soto home on March 3, 2022 at the age of 43. He is survived by his mother who lives in De Soto; his wife Jodi (nee Courtois) Ray; two daughters: Brittany (Jacob) Middleton, De Soto and Abbagail “Abby” Ray, De Soto; a special friend Delanie “Crash” Evans, De Soto; one grandchild Axel Middleton; four sisters: Tina (Steve) Roberds, De Soto, Ann (James) Hammond, Mineral Point, Patty (Joe) Maness, De Soto, and Kathy (Tim) Maxwell, Caledonia and three brothers: Lester Whitehead, Pevely, Everett (Debbie) Ray, Jr., De Soto and Kenny (Joan) Ray, Ste Genevieve. Dear nephew, uncle, cousin and friend. He is preceded in death by his father. As an expression on sympathy memorial donations may be made to: Shriners Children’s Hospital; 4400 Clayton Ave., St. Louis, MO 63110 or Mercy Burn Center, 615 S. New Ballas Road, St. Louis, MO 63141.
