Mrs. Donahue was my 6th grade teacher in 1961/62. I thought she was so pretty and such a wonderul and kind teacher. She wpuld let me run classroom errands for her and of course, that made me feel so special. Once when her son, Casey, was sick, she sent me to his classroom to get some work for him. The teacher thought I was his big sister and Mrs. Donahue's daughter. I didn't correct the impression because I would have been proud to have had her for a mother. I went on to teach 6th grade, myself, for 30 years.

Mrs. Donahue was my fifth grade teacher. The memories I have of her are of love. The year after I had her as a teacher I became very ill. My first day back she gave me a hug and a sequenced headband in Dragon green. Rest in Peace Mrs. Donahue.
