Joseph Rolla “Pal” Pinson was born December 23, 1932 in Cadet, MO. He was the son of Clifford J. and Victoria (nee Coleman) Pinson. He died on June 14, 2012 at his residence in De Soto, MO at the age of 79 years 5 months 22 days. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor R. (Merseal) Pinson, De Soto, MO; children, Terry Lee (Mary Sansoucie) Pinson, Bonne Terre, MO, Richard Pinson, De Soto, MO, and Rob (Brenda Sona) Pinson, De Soto, MO; siblings, James G “June” (the late Rosalee) Pinson, De Soto, MO, John E. Pinson, St. Peters, MO, Don L. (Marilyn) Pinson, De Soto, MO, and Roseann Pratt, Clayton, N.C.; sister-in-law, Theresa “Bertie” Pinson, De Soto, MO; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Martin “Manny” Pinson, two sisters, Theresa Lucas, and Virginia Haverstick. Joseph “Pal” was a member of Boilermakers, Local 13; he retired from the De Soto City Fire Department and he was a metal polisher for Southern Equipment.
