Joseph F. Boyer was born on September 3, 1946 in St. Louis, MO. He was the son of the late Maurice Joseph & Dorothy (nee Gamble) Boyer. He died on March 23, 2023 at Mercy Hospital St. Louis at the age of 76.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Marsha (nee Young) Boyer of De Soto; four children, JoAnn (Mike) Douglas of De Soto; Lisa Lynn (Jeff) Spikes of Barnhart; Kriss Ann Boyer of North Carolina; and Jamie (Randy) Nations of Barnhart; 9 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Robert (Diane) Boyer, Ruth Ann (Tub) Rutledge, and Irene Boyer.
Joseph served in the United States Army. He was retired from Chrysler. A member of the AmVets Post #48 and VFW #1831.
