Jonathan D. Snudden, Sr. was born on July 7, 1946 in Morristown, NJ. He was the son of the late Charles Alger and Dorothy Irene (Mortwedt) Snudden. He died on July 20, 2023 at home at the age of 77.
Jonathan had worked maintenance at Washington State Park. He was also a volunteer firefighter for 35 years, assistant Scout Master for Troop 454 and Cub Scout Master for Pack 454.
On April 20, 1968 in New Vernon, NJ, he married Elizabeth Ann “Betsy” (nee Doherty) Snudden, who currently resides in Blackwell, MO; he is also survived by his children, Jonathan (Melissa) Snudden, Jr., De Soto; Matthew Snudden, Louisiana; Christopher (Hannah) Snudden, De Soto; Ann (Chad) DeClue, Bonne Terre; his grandchildren: Brandon Snudden, Ryan (Katie Dodson) Snudden, Clayton (Sierra) Snudden, Autumn (Shane) Walters, Owen Snudden, Ava Snudden, and Peyton DeClue; and one great-grandchild on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Oliver De Clue.
