What a great man we were blessed to have in our lives. One of the most kind hearted, gentle people we have ever known. Johnny was our next door neighbor, but he and Ethel quickly became family. There is no doubt God, put us next to these great people for a reason. Johnny being like a father to both of us, he loved to offer a hand to repair or loan a tool whenever needed. When it come to inventions, man did he have them! You name the job, he had some kind of gadget he had made to get it done. We will always cherish the memories of this wonderful man we hold so near and dear to our hearts. Johnny will forever be missed. Rest in Peace.

Thanks for serving the Lord, and your service to our country. I will miss our visits as we would come in on Sunday. You have made quite an impression on a younger man, through the years, you always kept me up on Bill and Linda Hensley in Florida. I pray for strength for Ethel and all your family.
