As a 1969 St. Joachim graduate, I didn't know John well, but he was always highly respected. My prayers and thoughts go with John's entire family, but especially; to Elliott (my former kindergarten student), and LaDonna (a dear friend throughout our twelve years of schooling at St. Joachim). I know John will be truly missed, but memories of him and the life lessons he taught us will be an inspiration to all of us.

Well John, you now in heaven, where some day we will all be. Though you left us too soon, now you can pray for all of those who are still sick with this disease, instead of being prayed for. I haven't seen you in years, but I will always remember you in school, and all of the softball tournaments we played together. You was a determined competitor, a friend, and a fellow worker at the DeSoto Car Repair Shops. A lot of memories. Peace!
