John Taylor Raker was born October 24, 1958 in Crystal City, MO. He was the the son of J.D. “Jake” and Norma L. (nee Evans) Raker. He died on August 28, 2025 in Festus, MO at the age of 66 years. He is survived by his wife, Laurie A. Raker, St. Louis, MO and one brother, Lindsey Raker, Festus, MO and many friends and relatives both old and young. John was retired and currently an ice cream vendor in the Festus/Crystal City area. He was a Christian devoted to his faith and known for caring and helping others. He will be remembered for his open heart and generous spirit.
