Jerrold Anthony Boerner was born in St. Louis on November 10, 1939 a son to Otto and Bernices (nee Walk) Boerner.  He died at Evelyn’s Hospice House in Creve Coeur at the age of 86.  He is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Barbara L. (nee Yerkey) Boerner of De Soto; a son Charles “Chuck” (Nicole) Boerner, Fenton; a daughter Peggy (Michael) Boerner-Kirk, Valles Mines; two granddaughters: Ashley Colaiacovo and Lily Kirk; three great grandchildren: Aubrey, Aryiah “Rosie” and Stryker.  He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister Kathleen (David) Yingling.  Jerry served in the United States Navy and had retired as a union plumber.  He enjoyed  wood working and being outdoors, especially hunting and camping.  He volunteered for many years for the Boy Scouts of American and was a member of Plumber and Pipefitters Local #562.
