Janet Rae Sohn was born in De Soto on June 14, 1943 a daughter to Edgar Sohn and Minnie “Nean” (nee Hawkins) Sohn Hamrick. She died at Mercy Hospital-Jefferson on November 25, 2016 at the age of 73. A resident of Baisch Nursing Center for the past ten years she thoroughly enjoyed the activities there especially Bingo and Bible Study and was fan of St. Louis Cardinal baseball. She is survived by her sister Jackie (John Herder) West, Hillsboro; two brothers: Leon Sohn, Herculaneum and Lyle (Clancy) Sohn, Grenada, MS: a niece Blaise Herder; two nephews: Zachary and Taylor Sohn; and her cat George. She is preceded in death by her parents and her step-father Earl Hamrick. The funeral service will be officiated by Carla Schlueter, Activites Director of Baisch Nursing Center.
