Janet Evelyn Meinhardt was born on November 22, 1953 in Blackwell, MO. She was the daughter of the late John Pratt and Nellie Evelyn (nee Mercer) Reynolds. She died on September 9, 2023 at her home in St. Louis, MO at the age of 69.
She is survived by her children, Carrie (Ed) Burkey of St. Louis, MO; Megan (Dave) Williams of St. Louis, MO; Connie (Mike) Courtney of Bonne Terre, MO; Michael (Laura) Meinhardt of Brea, CA; and Jennifer (Brandon) Freeman of Brea, CA; one sister, Beth Sultzer of Fredericktown, MO; and her grandchildren, Edward Burkey, III, Anna Burkey, Jack Burkey, Emma Burkey, Joseph Reese Williams, Miles Williams, Eleanor Williams, Ashton Courtney, Kenzi Courtney, Peighton Courtney, Keaton Courtney, Nathan Meinhardt, Nora Meinhardt, Zachary Freeman, Jaxon Freeman, and Peyton Freeman.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father, Charles Reynolds; and her husband, Dennis G. Meinhardt; and three siblings, Iona Pratt, Steven Pratt and David Pratt.
As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Hillsboro Food Pantry or Military Pantry at Jefferson Barracks.
