James W. “Jimmy” Hasty was born on January 4, 1971 in Farmington. He died on January 12, 2024 at Rocky Ridge Manor in Mansfield. Jimmy never new a stranger. Jimmy would hug everyone. He loved God, his family, Supergirl, his radio, fishing, his bike and his toys. Jimmy enjoyed attending church at Rose of Sharon Full Gospel Temple in De Soto. He was the best person anyone ever had the privilege of knowing. He will be missed by everyone. Those who are left to mourn his passing include his brother John (Regina) Hasty of De Soto; two nieces Alicia Hasty and Cynthia (Danny) Bowers; a nephew Joshua Hasty; two great nieces: Pamela and Stacy; two great nephews Hunter and Buck and several aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother Leetha Irene (nee Gunnett) Myers, his father Nathan “Nate” Myers and a great niece Isabella Grace.
