James Paul Hunot, Sr. was born January 18, 1942 in St. Louis, MO. He was the son of Ewald Oliver and Elvera Elsie (nee Migrone) Hunot. He died on February 16, 2020 at Kindred Hospital Mercy South, St. Louis County, MO at the age of 78 years. He is survived by his wife, Linda C. (nee Cross) Hunot, Valles Mines, MO; two sons, James Paul Hunot, Jr., De Soto, MO and Michael Hunot, Desloge, MO; one grandson, Andrew Hunot, Columbia, MO. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jack Hunot. James served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War; was a member of Amvets Post #48; a charter member of Amvets Riders; former board member of Camp Hope; and was also a member of the De Soto Community Church of God.
