James Larry Head was born December 23, 1942 in Hales Point, TN. He was the son of James Allen and Ella Nora (nee McBride) Head. He died on June 10, 2014 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO at the age of 71 years. He is survived by his wife, Sharon (Nugent) Head, De Soto, MO; one son, James Varon Head, De Soto, MO. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Danny, Kenny, and Bobby Head; and Alice Ridenour. Larry enjoyed fishing and reading. He worked at Chrysler and was a member of U.A.W. Local 136 and attended Hope U.C.C. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Hope U.C.C. at 3rd and Easton, De Soto, MO 63020.
