I didn't know Grandpa very well. We all appreciated his service to our country. I do know he cared very deeply for Rose Kemper (my Grandma) .. Virginia DuRain (my mom); Youn Ok and his poodle. Grandpa was a dad to all Rose's kids from day one and did the best he knew how. We loved when he visited and I will miss his booming Voice. He will be greatly missed.
