Harold Lewis Kemper was born on May 12, 1930 in St. Louis, MO. He was the son of the late Theodore Kemper and Laura (nee Heggi) Graul; he was raised by his Grandparents: the late Henry & Clara Kemper. He died on June 18, 2018 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson at the age of 88.
He is survived by his children, JoAnn Proffer, De Soto, MO; Harold Kemper, Jr., Cadet, MO; Mark Kemper, Chattanooga, TN; Donald Kemper, De Soto, MO; Gary Kemper, Brentwood, TN; Randy Kemper, De Soto, MO; Step-Children: Virginia DuRain, Jacksonville, AR; Larry Levall, De Soto, MO; Linda Levall, De Soto, MO; Mary Williams, Hamilton, GA; Becky (Ed) Millinger, Ste. Genevieve; Kelly Thréanfhir of Ireland; Frank M. (Jackie) Williams, Mt. Vernon, IL; Steven T. (Joan) Williams, Columbia, MO; a niece: Youn Ok (Nathan Hamilton) Lee, Chapel Hill, NC and their son Amos;
numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, spouses, Virginia Rose (nee Pashia) Kemper & Anna Jane (nee DeGonia) Williams Kemper; siblings, Doris DuRain, Arlene Schonechoberg, and half-brother, William Obermeyer; and one step-son, Clifford Levall.
Harold was retired from the United States Army.
