Remember when the kids first calling him jump rope Geoff.... He came down to talk to us and picked up the kids' jump rope and started jumping rope just to make the kids and us smile.... He will definitely be missed.

about the above picture--here he was at the top of his game, he lit up the world in so many ways. he was at his favorite place in the world--at his grampaw's--to hunt, walk the woods, feel closer to God amongst the trees and cloud shadows--as many wise and ancient native americans would say--because he was on the river in his element and feeling the presence of God, then he died a "good"death""--farewell and adieu oh lovely man of the earth

My son and Geoff were in boy scouts together. Geoff came over one day to hang out with my son. They were probably both around 12 or 13. I started looking for them both and finally went to the garage to call them. They were climbing up in the rafters of the garage. Just being normal boys! I am so sorry, I cannot imagine losing my son. You have my prayers. I know that is not enough but I know that you are a Christian and God will get you through this. May you always have sweet memories!

Thinking about you Steph, wishing I could take all your sorrow away. You're a dear friend, and though I did not know Geoff well, I know if he was even a fraction of the person you are, then it was my loss not to know him better. Love you,

We spent a week on the river together. Just me and him, living off the land. One of the best weeks of my life. He was a good person, a happy person. I will forever miss him. 🙁

Geoffe and I were friends for quite a long time. I remember living down the road from him on fifth street. He would come down to the apartments and sit with me and my three girls. One day he was going for a walk and my girls wanted to go with him. I was in the middle of cooking supper so I told them to go ahead. My youngest daughter suggests that they ride bikes because she just learned how to ride. Geoffe was ok with the idea because the girls would only say "please Jump rope Geoffe" and they would get their way. This time when they got back from their bike ride I was waiting outside and here comes Geoffe walking down the hill carrying my youngest daughter and pushing her bike. She had an accident and ended up breaking her wrist. Geoffe never left her side till he knew she was alright. He will be missed greatly. My thoughts and prayers go out to all his family and friends.

Our deepest sympathy Stephanie and family on the loss of our son. Nephew, grandson whatever relation he may be, he was quite some young man. When he was little he was a very mischievous little boy, we loved that baby when he used to come to our home. Stephanie words can't express the sadness we have in our hearts for you
