Love you, Uncle Frank. I will never forget my summers (and many other times) at the farm - it was like a piece of Heaven.

To Bessie Lou and family. I have known you folks my entire life of 67 years now and always admired your family and Frank. He was my hero as a farmer , hunter and cared so much for his land , family and farm. I am proud to have known Frank and your family although have not seen any of you for many years I still think of you often. I loved to just sit and talk to him , in town , at your home , in the woods , on the old road going to my grandpa Viehmans, even at the Viehmans house at times.I even rolled my own smokes for a few years taking after Frank ! Frank will never die in my mind !

I thought that Uncle Frank was the handsomest man in the world. He was like a rugged movie star. He worked so hard on the farm. And I got to come stay for a week during the summer to soak up all the rural nature and country beauty I could manage in a week's time. I remember Uncle Frank's singing to me "Sioux City Sue" while he churned the ice cream maker on hot summer days. I felt so special to have him sing me a song with my name in it. He had a sly sense of humor in his quiet talk and a total devotion to his beloved wife, Aunt Bessie Lou. They were so much in love--it purely showed in all they did and were for each other. I felt I was in paradise when I was there on the farm. All my cares just melted away. Love, Sue
