Francis Jackson “Jack” Camp was born on December 15, 1911 in St. Louis, MO., son of William Owen and Frances W. Camp. Jack was preceded in death by his wife Bernice Siems Camp. He is survived by two sons: Dennis J. Camp (Marina Williams) of Camarillo, CA. and Erick J. Camp (Ruth) of Puyallup, WA. and six grandchildren: Cathy (Tim) Holt, TX; Brian Camp and John (Karena) Camp, Henderson, NV. Don (Birgitt) Camp, Herriden, Germany; Laura (Pete Cowles) Camp; Ericka (Brian) Dunham of Seattle, WA. and five great grandchildren. Also surviving are brother Robert (Bob) Camp of Clewiston, FL.; sisters, Adelaide Camp and Catherine (Cathy) Roop of De Soto. Nieces and nephews, Joan Camp Wandel of Jefferson City; Jean (Mike) Phillips of Columbia, Wade (Karen) Roop of De Soto and Gretchen Roop Ray of TX.

Jack was a Journeyman Electrician with I. B. E. W. Local No. 1 and had worked on many large projects throughout the country. After retiring he and Bernice made their home in Huzzah, Mo. until failing eyesight necessitated his move to California to be near his son Dennis.

In August 2006 he moved to the state of Washington to be with his son, Erick and family. He had to be admitted to the hospital on Tuesday, Feb. 20th.

Jack died in Puyallup, WA. on Tuesday, February 20th. He will be buried from Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto on Sunday, February 25th at 2 PM. Internment will be in Calvary Cemetery, De Soto, MO. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Saturday, February 24th.
