To family, relatives and friends who knew Jack Camp. I knew my grandfather as a warm-hearted person who was stern, but a fair man that would kindly give advice if asked. He was there for me when I was going through my impressionable years and gave me some words of wisdom that I will take with me and pass along to my children. He told me that, ?your word is your word Don. And that if you have nothing you always have your word. People will remember you for that.? He taught me that life is a precious present to enjoy each day as if it was a holiday. I was always proud to tell my friends that I have a grandfather still alive that I could talk to. Whenever we would discuss topics about life, I would use my Grandfather to validate my words. I would start by saying my Grandpa once told me ?all we are is a suitcase and what we put in it is who we are.? I loved my grandpa and I loved his anecdotes. The last time I spoke with him, he reminded me of the first time we met. I was in elementary school at the time. I was excited because I was going to me my Dads Dad. I was skipping down the street as he recalls and when I arrived and our eyes met I asked, ?Are you my Grandpa? He replied, ?Yep? and I said, ?Nice to meet you!? He always chuckled when he told that story and it put a smile on my face to hear him laugh. He is in heaven and when it is my time, I look forward to skipping into his arms as I did when I was a boy. Love, Don

Mr. Camp was a very nice man and a very hard worker, He wanted to walk so bad, He wanted to keep trying even when the pain was unberable. I am going to miss Mr. Camp ,He use to do this one exercise to get his shoulder flexion, He would be in the hallway shining the class, when I come around the coner, I miss seeing him there. He could'nt get my name right , so He called me Sara. God be with you all and my prayers are with the family. Thank you S RAMOS

Jack was a wonderful resident here at Franke Tobey Jones. He was well-liked and respected. He had a quiet dignity about him and was very tolerant of others. I was priveledged to have a long talk with him about his life the day before he left Franke Tobey Jones for his surgery, and he expressed alot of gratitude for the life he had. He was very proud of his children and spoke of a lifelong love toward his wife. I am very grateful to have crossed paths with this gentle, loving man. Our thoughts of comfort and peace are with all of Jack's family at this time.

I just wanted to share with the family my love and admiration towards their father and for the recent acceptance given to me in crashing Frances's birthday celebration. I and my family enjoyed the sharing of Frances birthday cake. It was so kind of you all. I only knew your family for a short time while Frances was staying here at Franke Tobey Jones and I was so touched by your support and love for your father and grandfather. It was a priveledge to converse and assist your family. With my little glimpes into your family, I would call him a very blessed man to have had the support and love I witnessed you ALL express. Thank you for all of your kindness and warmth towards me. My heart is with you during this time of adjustment and antisipation as you look forward to your reunion with your beloved Father, grandfather and friend. Sincerely, Angela
