Melinda I am so sorry for this difficult time you are going through...so hard to let go of a parent. So many wonderful memories of walking through your house into the kitchen where it seemed your mom was ever present working on some goody! Such a sweet, kind woman. (She introduced me to shrimp...will forever be grateful.) Wish I were closer so I could be there to give you a big hug...Kenny give her one for me. Much love and prayers are headed your way.

I am truly sorry for your loss. I know the pain of losing someone dear to me and something that has brought me comfort is the promises found in God's Word, the Bible. Soon, God promises to "swallow up death forever" (Isaiah 25:8) and to "resurrect" all of our dead loved ones. (Acts 24:15) I hope these promises bring you comfort until that time comes.
