Eugene “Gene” Boynton was born on June 1, 1936 in St. Louis, MO. He died on February 7, 2019 at the age of 82. He was the son of the late Selmer & Lillian (nee Dabbs) Boynton.
He is survived by his wife Carol L. (nee Graham) Boynton of De Soto; his children, Michael (Judy) Boynton, De Soto, MO; Debra (John) Price, De Soto, MO; and Laura Boynton of De Soto, MO; grandchildren, Jacob (Amy) Walker, Meagan (Jon) Adams, Chelsea (Sam) Price, Brittney (Dylan) Moiser, Brandon Boynton, Garrett Flynn, and Graham Boynton; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Drew, and Augustus; siblings, Ron Boynton of Crystal City, MO; Don Boynton of Farmington, MO; and Carol Manning of N.C.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, June, Dorothy, Velma, Bernice, Leonard, Winifred “Motsy”, and Earline.
Gene served in the United States Marine Corps. He worked as a Store Installer for Western Auto and was a member of B.P.O.E #689 and Amvets Post #48.
