Earline Johnston-Long was born July 18, 1924 in De Soto, MO. She was the daughter of Earl and Lola Tempa (nee Hubbard) Berry. She died on February 26, 2014 at her residence in De Soto, MO at the age of 89 years. She is survived by her husband, David Long, De Soto, MO; children, William “BJ” (Gina) Johnston, Osage Beach, MO; Barry (Susan) Johnston, Wildwood, MO; and David Long, Aurora, MO; brothers, William (Rita) Berry, Paragould, AR; Walter Glenwood (Carolyn) Berry, De Soto, MO; and Richard (Barbara) Berry, De Soto, MO; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Timon Johnston; two sisters, Bertha Hoyt and Alta (Derrick) Filkins. Earline was a member of the De Soto Community Church of God.
