Donna Fay Short was born on December 10, 1945 in Essex, MO. She was the daughter of Ranzie & Alma (nee Hunt) Maynard. She died on May 4, 2020 at her home in Valles Mines, MO at the age of 74.
She is survived by her mother, Alma Maynard of Valles Mines, MO; her husband, Michael Short of Valles Mines, MO; children, James Barker of Poplar Bluff, MO; Ramona Barker of Hillsboro, MO and Lindle (Tiffany) Barker of Poplar Bluff, MO; her sisters, Nannie (Jim) Redd of Valles Mines, MO; Peggy Schnake of De Soto, MO, Lois Crowley, St. Mary, MO; and Joy (Greg) Zimmer of Crystal Lake, IL; grandchildren, Curtis, Cayla, Christopher, Jessica, Brantley, & Landon; and great grandchildren, Kenzie, Austyn and soon-to-be Baby Bell.
She was preceded in death by her father, and two brothers, Jimmie Maynard and Troy Maynard.
Donna was a retired mail carrier for Imperial and was a prayer warrior. Services will be officiated by Pastor Randy Gray. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
