Dolly Burkhart Carrico was born February 1, 1930 in Dover, MO. She was the daughter of William Herman and Marie Odis (nee Frizzell) Burkhart. She died on March 20, 2013 in Festus, MO at the age of 83 years. She is survived by her sons, Scott (Corleen) Carrico, Festus, MO and John (Rhonda) Carrico, Imperial, MO; grandchildren, Kristina (Eric) Brandsoy, Scott Carrico, Tony Carrico, and Emily Rene Carrico; two great-grandchildren, Joshua and Jacob; sister, Margaret Rae Walline, Kansas City, MO; sisters-in-law, Helen Burkhart, Kansas City, MO and Betty Burkhart, Lexington, MO. She is preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, John, Eddie, and Ralph Burkhart. She taught in the De Soto Public School System for over 35 years and after her retirement she tutored school children.
