David Owen Harmon was born July 30, 1952 in De Soto a son to Edith Mae (nee Dennis) Harmon and Clyde Owen Harmon. He died on January 25, 2013 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO at the age of 60 years. He is survived by his, fiance’ Penny Pettit, Festus; one son, Todd (Samantha) Harmon, Herculaneum; his mother who lives in De Soto; one sister, Mary Lynn (James) Williams, De Soto; and one brother, Michael Harmon, De Soto. He is preceded in death by his father. David was a service representative at Anderson Merchandising; he was also a member of several local bands including, Lemon-Lime Crusade, Gibralter, Thrust, Last Minute, Southwind, Greyhound, GTO, and Alter Ego; he especially enjoyed decorating his home for Halloween and Christmas and trips to Destin FL with Penny and her family.
