Darla Catherine Fallert passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at her home with her son at her side.  Her family is deeply saddened by her sudden death.

Darla is survived by her son Shawn Fallert, granddaughters Jocelyn Fallert, Jessie Palos and Taylor Brannaker and great grandsons, Harrison and Simon.  Forever loved and remembered by her siblings and their spouses Sharon Surrency (Mal) Lakeland FL, Beverly Drennen (Howard) Kissimmee FL,  Kenneth Siebert (Glenda) Festus Mo, Rita Dunn (Ronnie) St. Louis, Mo and Keith Siebert Festus, Mo.

Darla was predeceased by her husband, Michael Fallert and daughter, Renee Fallert. Also preceded by parents Stanley Siebert and Wilma Siebert.

Darla was born at Bonne Terre Hospital, Bonne Terre, Missouri on November 6, 1949.  She grew up in Festus, Missouri where she attended Sacred Heart Catholic School and graduated from Festus Senior High School where she met and later married her high school sweet heart, Michael Fallert.  Michael and Darla had two children, Renee Fallert and Shawn Fallert.  She was a most devoted wife and mother.

Darla was a very caring person. She had the biggest heart and most beautiful smile.  She was a quiet and private person, but also very witty and fun!  For many years she lovingly cared for pre-school children as a day care provider.  She was a strong fighter, never giving in to her health issues or life circumstances.  In addition to her strong will, her faith carried her through many challenges.

Darla was a beautiful person inside and out.  She cared so deeply for the people around her.  She was so kind and passionate.  She will be forever missed.  Until we meet again.
