I believe I 1st met Charlie when I got on the De Soto Employees Railroad memorial committee. He was one of the nicest men you could meet. Always willing to help out and gave good advise at the meetings. He liked being involved with the Memorial. I once stopped at his house and he showed me his cars among other things, Although I did not stop often to visit I am going to miss visiting with him. He seem to always have something he wanted me to see. Along with sometimes a good story. I Pray God is with his Family a little more during this time.
