Camilla J. “Cami” Carter was born June 24, 1960 in St. Louis, MO. She was the daughter of John Hartford and Mildred Sara (nee Chamberlin) Hooss. She died on January 31, 2022 at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO at the age of 61 years. She is survived by her children, Shannon (Rolando) Quiroz, Hillsboro, MO; Ryan Carter, Hillsboro, MO; and Tevin “Tev” Rollins, Los Angeles, CA; grandchildren, Roman Quiroz, Rey Quiroz, Derrick Lupien, and Faith Lupien. She is preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, John T. Hooss. Cami worked as a title examiner for Hillsboro Title and sold real estate for Coldwell Banker. She was a member of Christ Church, Hillsboro, MO. As an expression of sympathy memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 680 Craig Rd. #300, St. Louis, MO 63141.
