Brent Alan Patzner was born on December 31, 1969 in Great Bend, KS. He was the son of Joseph William & Mary Patricia “Pat” (nee Redding) Patzner, Jr. of Joplin, MO. He died on May 19, 2018 in Herculaneum, MO at the age of 48.
He is survived by his parents, his son, Jake Patzner of De Soto, MO; daughter, Shelby Yinger of Shippensburg, PA; his companion, Kimberly Muzzey of De Soto, MO; brother, Brad (Laura) Patzner of Great Bend, KS; nephew, Matthew (Amy) Patzner of Great Bend, KS; and great nephew, Kellen Patzner.
Brent played baseball at Barton County Community College and also attended Washburn University; he was a member of the IUOE Local #513; he was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, De Soto, MO; a 4th Degree Knight of the De Soto Council #1185 Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of BPOE #689. Brent was a heavy equipment operator for McFry Excavating, Inc.
