Kenneth Bobby “Bob” Huskey was born in rural Hillsboro on August 3, 1933 a son to Clayton and Marie (nee Baker) Huskey.  He died in De Soto on February 5, 2025 at the age of 91.  He is survived by his wife of 72 years Shirley (nee Bass) Huskey; two daughters: Susan “Susie” Turner, De Soto, Vicki Edmundson, Nixa; two sons: Donald (Karen) Huskey, Hillsboro and Kevin (Vickie Lynn) Huskey, Hillsboro; his grandchildren; Deanna (Brent) Diebold, Charissa (Matt) Cain, Ben (Kimberly) Bouska, Lindsay (Kendal) Dingus, Jarrod (Rebecca) Huskey, Lauren (Chris) Reynolds and Abbie (Mark) Zimmerman; eight great grandchildren: Taylor, Jacob, Kaitlynn, Delany, Curtis, Thatcher, Gideon, and Leddy; and six great great grandchildren:  Blayne, Hazel, Dakota, Zaiden, Jett, and Saphire.  He is preceded in death by his parents; a son in law Jimmie Turner; and a brother Lester (Murilla “Midge”) Huskey.  Bob was a dairy farmer and drove a school bus for the Hillsboro R-III Public School District for 20 years.  He was also a deacon at First Baptist Church-Hillsboro.
