Billy Leon Heiple was born on June 1, 1939 a son to Ray “Pop”  and Helen (nee Stone) Heiple.  He died at the Woodlands Care Center in Arnold on April 15, 2019 at the age of 79.  He is survived by  one sister Dolores “Chimp” (Dean) Harris, De Soto; two brothers: Don (Monica) Heiple, Dellwood and Eddie Heiple, Granite City, IL; nieces and nephews: Danny Heiple, Arnold, Candy Heiple, Arnold, Deanne Pritz, De Soto, Dean (Jessica) Harris, Park Hills, Rhonda (Andrew)  Meshell , Dayton, KY, Matthew Heiple, Dellwood, Stephanie Mersinger, Edwardsville, IL, Bridgette Reich, Imperial, Don Heiple, St. Louis, Scott Heiple, St. Louis, Maggie Heiple, St. Louis,  and Jodi Heiple, Granite City, IL; a honorary niece Laura “Sissy” Torrence,  Arnold; and numerous great-nieces and nephews including: Bryan Heiple-Cape, St. Louis, James Campbell, St. Louis, Lauren Campbell, St. Louis, Brooklyn Pritz, De Soto, and Brylee Mallory, De Soto.  He is preceded in death by his parents; three sisters: Joyce Heiple, Shirley Adams, and Judy Reeves; four brothers: Bob Heiple, Hobert Heiple, Mickey Heiple, and Larry Heiple; one niece Beverly Adams; and  three nephews: Jody Heiple, Ricky Heiple, and Kenneth Adams. Billy was an avid racing fan so the family asks that you consider wearing attire supporting your favorite racing team/driver while attending the visitation or service.  As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 4400 Clayton Ave., St. Louis MO 63110
